Account management
How do I become a Togethrust member?
You can sign up in three ways:
1. By email: click "Log in" then "Create an account"
2. Via Facebook: log in with your Facebook account
3. Via Google: log in with your Google account
How do I access my personal information?
Log in to your account, then go to your profile by clicking the icon at the bottom left.
How do I change my password?
If you've forgotten your password, click "Forgot password" on the login page. You'll receive an email to reset it.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings, then click Deactivate account. Note that it can be reactivated later.
Wallet management
How do I top up my wallet?
Log in to your account, go to "Wallet" and click "Top up". You can use a bank card.
Do I need to top up my wallet before contributing?
You can contribute directly by SEPA direct debit or with your bank card. Topping up your wallet first is not required.
How do I withdraw my funds?
Go to your wallet and click "Withdraw". Funds will be transferred to your registered bank account within 2-3 business days.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and debit cards. SEPA transfers are also supported.
Creating a tontine
How do I create a tontine?
To create a tontine:
1. Click "Create a tontine"
2. Set the name and description
3. Choose the contribution amount
4. Select the frequency (weekly, bi-monthly, monthly)
5. Invite your participants
How many tontines can I create?
There's no limit to the number of tontines you can create on Togethrust.
What happens if someone declines the invitation to join a tontine?
The tontine is automatically cancelled if an invitee declines the invitation.
How long does an invitee have to accept?
Invitations expire 7 days after they are sent. After that, the tontine is cancelled.
Contributions
When do I need to contribute?
You need to contribute before the deadline shown on your dashboard. You'll receive email and in-app reminders.
What happens if I miss a deadline?
If you don't contribute on time, the tontine may be stopped. Your guarantee deposit will be used to cover the missed contribution.
Can I contribute more than the set amount?
No, each participant contributes the exact amount defined when the tontine was created.
Security
How are my funds protected?
Your funds are secured through our payment partner. We use SSL encryption and comply with PCI-DSS standards. Your funds never transit through any account owned by Togethrust.
How does the guarantee system work?
The guarantee places up to 20% of contributions in escrow to protect against default. Participants holding funds in the guarantee can recover them when a member of their tontine fails to contribute on time.
What happens in case of default?
We have an escalation procedure to protect our users against the risk of losing their funds. If needed, a debt acknowledgement is issued to the debtor, and our partner — the company EBSC — can be engaged to start amicable or judicial debt recovery proceedings.
Pricing
What are the fees?
Togethrust takes a commission on each contribution during the first cycle only. It amounts to 2% and can be calculated on a flat basis (the same commission for every participant) or a tapered basis (the commission decreases down to zero for the last member). Details are shown when you create the tontine.
Are transfers to my wallet free?
Yes, transfers between your Togethrust wallet and your bank account are free.
